Why should a conversation concerning civic engagement and social responsibility be held concerning today’s youth? Great question and I am glad that you asked! The answer is that many of societies challenges and hot button issues can be adequately addressed by the concern and involvement of its citizens. Especially as it relates to social justice, problem solving, and identifying a positive way forward in our respective communities. Sadly, there is often a voice that is missing from the conversation, and that voice comes from today’s youth.
For that reason, I wanted to heighten the community’s awareness about a certain organization that is helping to give young people back their voices and empowering them in the process!
