How you moderate stress in your life is a good predictor of how will you fare in other areas as well. For example, if you lack a specific means of coping when stress occurs, there is a greater likelihood a negative result will occur.

The Power of Positive
My research in human behavior suggests that when you embrace a positive outlook, you are able to mitigate a certain degree of stress before it even occurs. A recent Mayo Clinic study also suggests there are health benefits to maintaining a positive outlook in life. These benefits include a reduction in stress, longer lifespans, and a greater immunity to disease.
Choices and Stress
The good news is that each of us has the ability to determine how we view our circumstances and the subsequent positive or ill effects. While we may not be able to change or control our circumstances, we can control the way in which we see them and subsequently react.

Three Stress Busters
Let me share with you three actions to take to help reduce stress in your life.
1.Determine within yourself to have a positive outlook and disposition concerning your circumstances. In other words, become known in your respective environments as a positive person…that choice is always yours.
2. Resolve within yourself to not succumb to the negative influences around you. Make it a point to not internalize what the doubters are saying because there will always be people who want to see you fail. Sadly, they may have given up on their dreams, and do not want you to achieve yours.
3. Become self-aware and embrace optimism concerning your colleagues, position and ultimate purpose in life. Routinely be that person whose glass is half-full, and not half-empty!
I tell my beautiful children all the time…make your own sunshine and positive atmosphere because that decision is entirely up to you!
