Get Rid of Frustration and Hopelessness
Recently, during the course of one of my monthly workshops, one of my attendees shared they were just frustrated and fed up with their current position in their company. The look on their face was a cross between frustration and hopelessness. I am all too familiar with that look because I have seen it several times before, either during one of my speaking engagements, or during one of my seminars or training.
You Have To Be Content
One of the first things that I ask them is…are you content? Now you may think thatis an odd question, but in fact it really is not when you think of the meaning of the words. If you are not content, you will invite worry and anxiousness in your life, which hampers your ability to create and change your current situation.
The Point of Contentment Will Change Your Respective Situation
In contrast, when you reach the point of contentment, it allows clarity of thought and the mental fortitude to plan, execute and change your respective situation when the opportunity presents itself. Learn to be content and excellent in the job you’re in right now, but never satisfied. After all, it may not be what you want to do right now, it may not be the best fit for your personality, but you are laying a brick on the path to your destiny and every moment of learning, discomfort, and uncertainty is part of that road… build it well and it will support you well later.
What are you doing today to boost your contentment level?
