Your Future is in Your Hands
The event was tied to providing an excellent example for young people to follow, while also teaching them that their future was in their hands. The event was called “Tied to Greatness” and it was geared toward young males that were at risk or exposed to challenges on a daily basis. I was privileged to speak to them about making a decision to Live their Destiny on a daily basis and not to allow their circumstances to dictate their lives. As a bi-product of the event, the young men were also instructed how to tie a tie as a metaphor for influence of those who have gone before them.
Influence Leads to Positive Outcomes
Influence is often tied to leadership and the ability to lead and guide someone to a positive goal or initiative for positive outcomes. As the young men soon discovered, we all need someone as a navigator in our lives to provide advice and guidance for uncharted pathways. My encouragement to you today is to seek out those to influence and remain open to being influenced by others in a positive way. In this fashion, we all become closer to achieving greatness in our lives! What are you doing to create a lasting legacy in this lifetime?
