We All are in a State of Becoming
While I have been speaking for over twenty years and consider myself someone who is a fast learner, I understand that we all are in a state of becoming, in other words, I need all the help I can get. During today’s session at the Platform Profits Lab sponsored by the National Speakers Association (NSA), Randy Gage www.RandyGage.com revealed something of a nugget that I am led to share with others who could not be here.
Three Important Points from Randy’s talk
Randy shared that we often sell ourselves too short when valuing what we do and what we bring to the proverbial table. I am not just talking about intangible things like confidence, commitment, and decision-making, but things that we can see, touch and feel, like our intellectual property or products. Anyone in the speaking profession knows that you must have passive residual income to meet some of your financial objectives, for this reason, I want to share three things from Randy’s talk:
1. Randy was very candid about the importance of pricing accurately. If you are not pricing according to what the market will bear then you are missing opportunities for impact.
2. Create product suites that showcase your value that you are adding to your tribe or following.
3. Utilize a Magalog, to leave behind your content and as a valuable resource.
